Minorcan Mike’s Datil Breakfast Bagel
Start your morning right with Minorcan Mike’s Datil Breakfast Bagel using both Minorcan Mike’s Datil Pepper Sauce and Datil Pepper Salsa.
Ingredients

Poached Eggs

Datil Avocado Pesto (see instructions below)

1 cup packed fresh basil leaves

½ large ripe avocado
-
2 cloves garlic
-
3 Tbsp pine nuts
-
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
-
½ Tbsp Minorcan Mike’s Datil Pepper Sauce (or more depending on your spice preference)

3 Tbsp water (more if necessary)

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

To make the Datil Avocado Pesto, combine basil, avocado, garlic, nuts, lemon juice and sauce in
a blender or food processor and pulse until nuts are chopped. Add water and blend again until
smooth. Transfer to a bowl and mix in cheese. Set aside. -
Toast everything bagel and poach eggs.

Create your Datil Breakfast Bagel by putting the bagel on a plate and loading with datil pesto
and then the poached egg. -
Lastly, top with Minorcan Mike’s Datil Pepper Salsa, to taste, for a hearty and healthy breakfast!
